Company History

Inquiring Minds was designed and started by Joan Underwood, a middle school teacher who was frustrated with the lack of availability and variety of materials offered - especially geared toward middle school. Also, parents of her students expressed frustration and apprehension of going into traditional "teacher stores". Thus, the concept of combining two specialty stores - a complete teacher store and toy store.
